We feel that breaking down
isolation is a fundamental part of doing this work. This section of our site serves to publish and present the writings and
art work of people in our movements who are struggling to bust down binary thinking.

Submission Guidelines:
- We accept
poetry, artwork, fiction, non-fiction and blended genres that specifically relate to binary busting.
- All pieces
must address issues of accountability. Binary busting is not about taking away from a particular community's history and
experience, it's about deeping our understanding of oppression and intersectional work.
- Written
submissions can be no longer than 2000 words in .rtf or .doc formats; images should be submitted as .jpegs or .gif files.
- The bustingbinaries.com co-creators can suggest editorial changes and they have the final say
on what gets put on the site.
- Authors and artists retain all paper and electronic rights to their
work.
- We do not provide compensation for work posted on this site.
- Whether
or not your work is accepted for publication, you will be notified within a 3 month period of submission.
